string spacings

whats the correct string spacing for les paul bass pickups:help: does anyone know???

If they're the modern "TB Plus" pickups, I'm pretty sure those are blade pickups. So the string spacing doesn't really matter, as long as you don't "fall off the edge" of the pickup. :)
