I'm looking to replace the on board preamp on my modulus 5 string flea (lane poor p/ups) and i'm not sure what to get. Any suggestions? It has 4 knobs dunno if that has any effect on which preamp.

This says it is designed for two pickups? The flea only has 1 pickup will it still work for one pickup?

yes I have the diagrams it will work for one pickup. you just turn the trimpot for the other one the whole way down.

It is a great preamp for matching 2 pickups with different outputs. I have one installed with lane poor pickups too.

The lane poor buffer w/ passive tone is very cool, but so is an aguilar with active EQ.

Rip the guts out and go passive, I say. Okay, how 'bout this?:

Check the Audere website. I've heard nothing but great reviews. They also offer a gazillion control / EQ options to fit just about any bass.

Im absolutely amazed by my East preamp.

It totally changed the dynamics of my bass. As a reference solo bassist Steve Lawson uses a lane poor/east combo with wonderful results.
