Suggestions on a MM style pickup

Hey'all,

I'm looking for a 5 string MM style pickup for a bass I'm planning to build. I've used a Carvin before, and to be honest, I like it, but I'd like to try a different brand. Some brands I'm looking at are SDG, Nordstrand, and maybe some other custom guys (Benedetti perhaps). I'd like to hear suggestions, comments, favorites, least favorites, etc.

If you want a great sounding and solid constructed pickup I'll suggest you the Nordstrand.
Sounds exactly like a vintage MM and you have a choice of several wirings.

I would have one custom made. Then you can tell the pickup maker exactly what sound you are looking for
