Suggestions for Replacement Pups for Ibanez EDB400?

I'm looking at the Bartolini BC Series, but any other suggestions would be great! I'm looking for a very versatile sound, so I can play anything from progressive stuff to jazz and funk...

IMHO the Barts have some sort of mid-dy sound; not much clarity or growl. There are many options as to get a nice sound. Depends what you are looking for really.

When we talk about versatility Villex comes first in my mind. On my Dingwall Voodoo I had a pair of BC Barts (they came with the bass) and I replaced them to elevate my Voodoo to the level of the other Dingwalls. Very versatile indeed (plus you may add ANY preamp to further manipulate the sound) That is my .02

PS I do play progressive, funk, jazz, even reggae with the Voodoo
