I purchased a '83 Fury on ebay a while back under $100 shipped. The seller said the pickup was missing. I wasn't but broke off from the spring mounts and was floating inside the body. I thought i could fix this but in a hurry to play the bass and with a loss of patience i epoxied the pickup to the pick guard!!! It works and is super aggressive! But i'd like to find another Super-Ferrite pickup and restore this bass to it's original state. It has the slanted pup with the built in thumb rest. I'm having a hell of a time finding a replacement. Any one know where i might look or of someone who might be wanting to part with one of these pups?
