Supergluing the coils to the cover?

They are seperate. I know the springs hold them in but I superglued them before I realized this. This won't affect the sound at all will it? Some glue might be around the poles.

As long as your glue sticks are the regular non-conductive sort, there shouldn't be any change in the sound. If anything, you just helped to prevent microphony. Many pickups are dipped in wax to stop the innards from vibrating. I imagine mounting the coils to the cover would have a similar effect.
