I've noticed Bart makes a pup replacement for the MM5, and it looks to be (dimensionally) similar to that of the Ibanez. The stock stuff is alright, but I know there's more to be found, because I've learned through experience that Ibanez pickups sound a little too gravelly for my tastes. I was wondering if anyone had performed a swap of any type, etc. etc. I searched a bit, but didn't turn up too much. I temporarily lent the bass to a friend to do some recording, so I am physically unable to compare measurements based on Bartolini's website against the actual pieces in the bass.
