Swappin pickups

I'm thinkin of buyin a used Ibanez SR305 to play with. I'm hoping to throw some EMG 18v active 40DC's in there (n maybe upgrade tha bridge to a better Ibanez brand bridge). But my concern is making room for tha two 9v batteries that it takes to power tha active EMG pickups. Tha SR comes with a hole for one 9v bc of tha stock active electronics. Also, tha stock pickups look to be slightly thinner than tha EMGs. Would it be worth it to do some surgery to make everything fit? Also, where can I buy a plastic box for tha two 9v batteries with a pop-off like top thing? Not too sure what to call that jawns... hah.

I have sr400 I changed out the pickups and electronic eq(BQC system) to all emg. I did the 18 volt thing. I have one battery in the stock battery cavity and the other one is in the electronics cavity. The second battery fits snug in the electronics cavity so I did not have to make second battery cavity to make it fit. The EMG electronics take up less space than the stock ibanez electronics so that helped alot. just make sure you wrap the battery in foam so it does not short circuit.
