Swapping Low End pre for an Aquilar OBP3

I was curious if anyone has done this or not... First let me say, I LOVE THIS bass and plan on keeping it, however, I was interested to know if anyone has slapped any other pre's in these LOW ENDS in combo with the pick-ups (Benevente) that come with the bass... Thanks
