Is it possible to take out a jazz bass pickup from a fodera nyc empire 4 string and install a precision pickup or humbucker? i know this is probably a stupid question

everything is possible with time/talent/money, or a combination of all. answer is yes, question is why? It all depends on what you want to achieve, and I usually mod instruments much cheaper than that
