swapping out my CS60s... suggestions?

I love the way my Fender Jazz Bass currently sounds with CS60s pups in it. However, I HATE THE HUM!
I'm considering DiMarzio Area J pickups right now as the front runners. I want to keep as close to the same sound as possible. I understand that humbuckers won't sound like true single coils ever... I also understand that you can get pretty close. I HATE THE HUM!
So this is another one of those "I want single coil tone out of a humbucker" type threads... but I think I am being fairly specific by saying I REALLY LIKE what I currently have in my CS60s pups.

Tried Delano JMVC 4 FE/M2 pups and DID NOT like them. Too much going on in the low end.

My jazz bass is my funk bass. I use it when I think I'll need to be doing a lot of slapping that night. In case that also helps, I like fresh, bright, stainless steel strings. LOVE the Marcus Miller tone. So am looking for humbucking that will come close (again, I understand that I will have to accept certain compromises) to a Marcus Miller type single coil tone out of my Fender Jazz bass (currently with CS60s which I like very much).

p.s. where would I get shielding paint? and is it as easy as just spraying the inside of the cavity full of it? seems much easier than the copper foil method. with that said, my hum issue isn't the high pitched kind. and even if it were, that can be solved by touching your hands to the strings... the 60-cycle hum that is a result of single coil is a little too annoying for me

which jazz is it? current american standards already have shielding paint under there; said paint won't help with 60Hz hum anyway.

i hear good reports on the fralin, but the areas are the closest i've heard myself to dead-on vintage jazz pickups.

It's a 2012 jazz bass.
The fralin humbucker a are so much more than area j's tho... Given that my jazz is my backup (to my roscoe which isn't the best for slapping), I don't think that the $150 extra between area Js and Fralins would be worth it
