Swapping P Pickups...

Sign in to disble this ad
Thinking of swapping in SD SPB-3 into my Highway One. Do I have to change the volume and tone pots too? If so, please recommend me some good ones.

Thanks in advance.

I'm about as incompetent on electronics as they come, but I would assume the pots would remain. It's just a bit of soldering as far as I know, but as I said, that's not much.

The pots can stay. Just solder in the new wires to where the old ones came off. Keep blk/blk & white/white & get a good ground. P~bass is nearly the easiest p'up swap there is.
