Switches: grounding out unsed positions?
Hey folks,
I picked up a 2 pole 2-6 position switch. You can "lock out" any unused positions. I only plan on using 2...for series and parallel switching.
Should I ground out the remaining 4 unused positions, even though I set the switch to stop at position number 2?

Thanks!

interesting!
i just use
these
out of that same catalog for that application. (and no, i don't see much point in grounding the unused portions, as long as the overall chassis is grounded.)
