Switching MusicMan Sterling electronics

Can anyone here give me any help/advice/diagram/photos on how to swap out the pickup and preamp from my '96 Sterling. There's nothing wrong with the bass. I've just gotten tired of the original electronics, but I love the neck and lightweight (for a MM) body. I'm putting in a Nordstrand 4.4 and a Bartolini 3-band preamp. I'm going to use a 3-way CRL blade switch and want to retain the parallel-single coil-series switching capability. I'm a little uncertain of the pup to switch wiring and can use all the help I can get. Connecting the pre-amp seems pretty simple once the pickup is wired to the switch. All assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Budbear, check Nordstrand Forums - they have wiring diagrams for all their pickups. Series/single/parallel will be a breeze.

It's just me but I would keep the stock pickup breadboard a Sabre II preamp and pop it in there. That preamp was really slept on. I built them for several basses and they sound great. It has a unique tone character while retaining that raw vintage sound. The cool part about breadboarding is you can use whatever parts you want and experiment with different component values to get your own unique sound
