Switching pick ups question.

I'm kind of brain dead when it comes to bass electronics, but here's the question.
I have a Pete Wentz (Yes, Pete Wentz) Squier signature bass, and I'm thinking of buying spb-3's to install in it, and put the stock Duncan Designed PB-105 pick ups in my standard Squier bass.
But here's the thing that get's me. Because the Wentz bass only has a volume pot and no tone pot, but my other Squier has the Tone and Volume, will it work?
I'm pretty sure this is a facepalm or emoticon worthy question.
Thank you for the help in advance.

Yep, the PB105 will work fine. The pickups can be wired to a volume control, a volume & tone control, or even straight to the output jack. Basically, just pay attention to where the wires are soldered when you remove the stock pickup and solder the PB105 wires in the same place.
