JUST bought some cheapo sx jazz pickups and each pu had two wires on the end, one white and one some other color. Which is hot and which is ground thank you. Or if any of you have a closeup picture of your jazz bass wiring i would appreciate it. thanks.

One wire comes out of the pickup, then you can see there are really two wires at the end, one white and one bare looking one. I was messing with the wires and I think the little white wire is the ground and the other hot.

white is hot and bare is ground. i'm surprised they'd even have a bare wire instead of coated.
