tele bass sized pickups

Hey everyone,

I have an old Aria Tele bass knockoff. I really don't like the sound of the pickup at all. There's no definition.

I know Seymour Duncan makes a few pickups that would fit in my bass, but I'm not sure the string spacing is correct. I've also read about people using rail style pickups in mustang basses. Do they actually sound good for a bass pickup?

Any ideas?

I use a Dimarzio X2N-7 (7 string guitar humbucker) in the bridge position of my bass. it sounds like a smoother MM style pickup.

Looks cool but I don't think it's fit my bass. Mine is the 1560 (Aria FE**ER Bass Clones).

I have a Hanson 51 pickup in my Tele bass, and LOVE it.
