Testing output

I'd tried searcing for this, but no luck - I suspect one of my Dimarzio J pickups is fried. How do I test the output coming from the pickup itself? (It's no longer installed)
Thanks!

Use multi tester, set it to 20k ohm, put one tester on each output and read it. Or take it to a local music store and have the tech look at it.

Go to DiMarizio's web site, they sould have resistance values there. I think it should be somewhere around 17k to 19k.
