is there anyway to save/fix a "Dead Pickup"?

yep. an ibanez active p has died today, and been diagnosed by a guy at music go round. forgot to ask if its fixable. is it?

Depends on what's broken. Best give the guy a ring and ask - not something that's answerable without the pickup in hand.
