is there much difference between the EMG-P active and pasive pups?

looking at puting in some emg-p pups but kinda want to stick to the passive side of things.
what's the difference between the EMG-P passive and active models, pros, cons, should I bother?

they're nothing at all alike. "real" EMGs are active, everything else is just their lower-grade stuff. if you want passive, other companies do that better.
