Considering putting a P pickup in an MM routed bass. Anyone know of an available finish trim kit to hold things together?

Call Jeanie Pickguards, they could probably do a custom trim plate, no problem.

That's kind of a carry-over terminology from the car stereo world. "Trim kit" usually means a plastic bezel/frame that goes around the equipment to hide the mounting screws and wiring while blending in/looking nice with the stock dashboard/plastic.

In this case, it could be a plastic pickup "frame" or most probably a PG.

In that case, a standard split coil P pickup will not fit within the size of a MM cover or routing.

You will need to re-route the bass and then cover the route with a pickguard.

There are several places around that will make you a custom pickguard based on your full sized drawing.
