There's a short in my harness that I can't find.

I took my bass to a luthier and got it back and, while he did what I wanted like rewire it to stock specs, there is a short in it somewhere now that I can't find!! Argh. However unlike normally I can't find where the short even is. The bridge pickup seems to be grounded at the center lug of the volume pot that corresponds to it, which seems wrong... otherwise I'm stumped.

The wiring harness was healthy and happy until I took it to him; of course it was also disassembled partially, but I know it was working fine prior to disassembly (I disassembled it to put in an Audere pre, which sounded great but I got bored of it--then I was too lazy to rewire the original harness and just asked this luthier to do it). I thought I could fix this myself rather than bug him to do it but it's been surprisingly hard!

Can anyone spot the short?

It's a Ric 4003 by the way.

look here; http://www.rickenbacker.com/pdfs/19507.pdf

Trace the wiring & draw your own schematic of the current circuit. Compare with the factory spec to verify it is properly connected or find errors.
