Are these 4 wire (neck) humbucker pickups?

The reason why I asked this is because in the description it doesn't say if it's 4 wired but it is for jazz guitar which is what I'm looking for. I don't understand what is meant by 4 wires, do all pickups especially for jazz bass guitars have four? Or do I have to search in a different category?
This is the person that recommended it to me,

The previous product is an upgraded pickup knob and tone control which I wold require a total of four pickups in my bass guitar ;P

Do the pickups have to be humbucker (is this a specific brand) ? Can Bartolini and Dimarzio work?

Those are clearly two-conductor single coil pickups.

Also, $140 is rather steep for that control plate assembly. I would make my own.
And for the record, all pickup tones are analog.

You need a side by side humbucker for what they have to work. Each pickup has two coils, so therefore 4 wires.

These are the only side by side humbuckers in a Jazz size that I know of:

This is another answer from a different site which I felt like sharing here,

"The pickups you're looking at on eBay are not 4 wire. They can't be...they're only single coil.

A 4 wire pickup has to be a double coil humbucker (and humbucker is a type, not a brand). The 4 wires means that each of the two coils has their connections exposed. This gives you the opportunity to wire them in series (like a standard 2 wire humbucker), parallel, and do coil splitting.

The person that recommended those pickups to you doesn't have the slightest freaking idea of what their talking about...they're just trying to sell you something.

And that switch...that's about the idiotic thing I've seen to put on an instrument. There might be 76 mathmatical combinations you can get out of those switches, but how many of 'em are usable? Not that many I'm willing to bet. Seriously, how many sounds do you need? Two, maybe three, and then worry about playing.

I wouldn't jack with any of this stuff. If you want to upgrade your pickups, take the money you were going to spend on that silly switch and buy some Duncan's or Bartolini's.
