these on a fretless/fretted?

Sign in to disble this ad
ok so heres the deal I'm really digging the Red PJ SX w. the black pick guard. chances are I'm going to order on very soon and my plan is to then buy a fretless neck to put on it and maybe trade off which neck I have on it from time to time (i realize the dangers of this and I plan on filling the holes each time as well as not doing it very often)

anyway so because I have a squire PJ already which I love I was wondering how these would sound on the new SX... http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...ass?sku=302265

by questoning is mainly if it would sound right on a fretless... anyone tried this before? I'm not looking for a traditional fretless sound really, in fact the reason I want the fretless is so I can play in tune instead of the Equal Tempered System.

But back to my point. I'm wondering how the DiMarzio would sound on a fretless and if anyone has tried if you could post a soundclip or youtube line to give me some idea what it sounds like?..

Thanks in advance for the input!!
