do you think these pickups in a Peavey Millenium BXP 4 string would sound good for a Megadeth style thrash band?I want that aggresive metal tone. Also please suggest other pups for me to consider!

I know quarter pound pickups can give you a very punchy cutting sound. As far as i can tell (i have a Quarter Pound P P/U), itll give you a lot of higher mids in the mix. But also note, these jazz pickups ARENT hum canceling so you will need to have both on to get rid of the evil hum, not sure if that bothers you or not.

I have heard good things about EMG pickups giving a good metal tone like you said. Maybe just something else for you to look into. I would advise staying away from the Barts at least, they always seem too smooth to me to have that heavy tone. Also playing with a pick usually gives you a more aggressive sound. Hope i helped a little.
