Are these old Dimarzio Model P's?

Bought these off of eBay and I'm not sure if they're legit.

Here is the seller's description:
Quote:
Approximately from the mid to late 70's for a Fender Precision or imitation. Never used. Was to use for a Precision imitation rebuild but lost interest and never got around to doing project and the pickups sat since unused.

Absolutely Not.

DiMarzios have adjustable poles and you can see the magnets on the bottom.

They also have four wires, a red, green, white and black.

The fronts look like this:

[EDIT] The back should look like this on the Model P. You can see the magnets glued on.

No, they are not Model Ps. That's too bad, too, as I love me some Model Ps!

They're probably the pickups he replaced with the DiMarzios.

Nope not dimarzios. They had adjustable pole peices even back then. I'll assume seller put the dimarzios in his bass from which these came out of. Then put those in the dimarzio box to sell as dimarzios to whomever was unlucky enough to buy from them.

I hope the OP posts a follow-up about the rest of this transaction, including the price.

I once put DiMarzios in my all original, '65 Fender P. Maybe those are my old...........no...that's right,I changed 'em back again.
But seriously, give 'em a try any way, you never know.
