Tone Capacitors. What's the Difference?!

Sign in to disble this ad
What is the difference in the .1mfd, .047 mfd, .033 mfd, and so on? I'm buying an all new wiring harness, and i need to know what the difference is between these capacitors so i know which one to get.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks!

The larger values will cut the treble more. Stock on a J is 0.047mfd. I believe this is stock on modern day Ps. I believe Ps from the 50s had 0.1mfd standard.
