I have a plan. Screw this switch blade crap. I'm going to buy a John East 2 band preamp, bypass the blade switch completely and replace the mid knob with a push/pull pan pot/coil tap to split the humbucker and pan between neck and bridge pickups.

If you replace the preamp, then it would be easy to wire up the switch to do what you like.

That might be the way to go. I hear John's preamp is great, so that could be plan.
