Variax Bass hardware & electronics ?

I believe there was a Variax Bass hardware & electronics kit to put in other than Line6 basses but I can't find it anywhere.

No, line6 does not sell the Variax "guts"...
in order to do a transplant, you have to purchase a variax, and take out the electronics.

this has been a very common request though...
i cant tell you how many people have asked about buying the electronics seperatly.

if you want a VB700, i have one that i am considering selling.

also worth noting, in order to do a transplant requires extensive routing...

i have only seen one bass transplant, and the guy who did it opted to do a custom body, and dissasemble the "coffin"
