i think the SD quarter pounders sound thick.

this is just going thru the XLR direct box build in my ZOOM b2.1u (which is in bypass mode except for the end of song where i used reverb)

the HD video camera is a $115 Kodak Zi8

is it just me, or do these pups sound good?

I would rather the bass was louder.

I loves me some 1/4 lb ers.

Is it me, or do you look like Mike Dirnt ? (not that thats a bad thing)

even though it is proper loud in that first clip you can still hear everything through it though (I'd still have turned it down a though...), where it's a bit too quiet in the other clips you can still hear what your playing very clearly though. Your in a pretty favourable position though with your guitarists tone being quite chimey, and not having a stupidly dominating kick drum in any of those clips which seems to ruin alot of bass tones and mixes overall.

But in any situation with pretty much every instrument in a small ensemble, a good tone is one where you can be be too loud and to be able to hear anyone else, or you can be be too quiet and still be able to hear yourself well. Obviously when you add more and more instruments, with less and less contrast in sound, you can't get away with having unbalanced levels.
