Villex jazz instal issues

I'm installing a set of villex jazz linear humbuckers into a warmoth back routed body and can't seem to find answers to my dilemma.

First off, the 50k potentiometer they supplied for the mid control won't fit and I can't screw it on. Does anyone know where I can find one with a longer shaft that will work?

Also, anyone who has installed them before can help me on this one, when inserting the pickups shouldn't the wire be angled toward the pots so it can reach? Otherwise I think the logo was put on these upside down... unless it's supposed to be like that...
