I would really like to purchase the tone booster from Villex...but has anyone bought them? Do they really work?...and are they a trustworthy source to order from? I'm just a little paranoid because there's no online order form

William is a great guy to deal with. Don't worry about the limited online stuff, he's just running a lean operation. I've bought 2 sets of pickups from him so far.

I've got a set to go into my RS824, but never seem to clear the bench long enough. Plus I'm a slack bastard.

Thanks for the input everyone. I can understand if he's just running a lean-operation...makes it feel like he's building them and sending them off with tender loving care

now where is my pocket book

Interesting review. When I order the pickups for my XL2, I might have to get one of these to try. I could easily fit it and a stacked V/B and mid control in the three positions and have a fully passive bass.

I had two sets and decided that they were not for me...to each their own...

Even though i don't like vol/vol cofiguration, on the Voodoo Dingwall I went with that (Vol/vol concentric). This way you don't get the volume drop in the middle when using a balance pot.

After I typed the above, I realised V/V mght be a bettter fit.
