Is there an online store who has vintage pots? I am looking for a jazz bass set from 1974. Thanks for any info!

Vintage pots from a specific year are not usually a stock item for anyone.
Keep an eye on eBay by setting up an automatic daily search.
Google music stores on ebay, send them an email to let you know when what you want comes in. Contact music stores/pawn shops in your area and do the same.

Send a message via AIM to GeneralElectric
Just look at the production years and figure out what types of pots Fender was using.

I thing RSGuitarworks will be able to help you out, unless you're specifically restoring a project.

Yeah, i am looking specifically for CTS with a 13774XX code. Its the only thing I need for my '74 to be completely a '74!

Keep an eye on the bay and you will likely find a full harness which after seeing your original post about the bass is what you will need. It won't be real cheap but worth the cost in the end. One other option is vintage guitar shows. I'm not sure what part of arkansas you are in but the dallas show is huge and they always have this kind of stuff. I would just put some other pots in there for the meantime until you find the right year so you can enjoy it. You may find one tomorrow or it may be next year. Just don't rush out and buy any 1974 pots and think that the wiring harness is not just as important. It is. I have a couple of these projects right now and patience is key in any restoration.

Good idea. I'll just get some new ones until I can find the old ones.
