I've got a G&L L2000-tribute bass that until about a week ago has been pretty awesome!
When I went to play it after about two weeks' pause from it, I noticed it had virtually no output when I put it in any of the two active modes it had. Because I by mistake had left it on its stand with the jack-cable plugged into it, I figured it would be the battery - but it wasn't.
It plays just as it always has when in Passive mode, however, so it's gotta be the wiring or something that's somehow been damaged.
Also, when I plug it into an electric tuner while in active mode, the tuner is 100% as responsive as it is when it's in passive mode or when I tune my guitar. I find this a bit suspicious!
Has anybody in here experienced something like this or knows what might be wrong, and would a picture of the inside help?
TL;DR: Bass has virtually no output when in active mode but works perfectly in passive mode, isnt because of battery. Digital tuner is responsive while in active mode however - what's wrong?
