Ok I have this crazy idea.

I have a Seymour Duncan Rickenbacker pickup. I want to put it next to the bridge of my Telebass. I think it would be kind of the same idea as the EB-3

Of course i will have to wire it up and find out if it sounds good before i cut my bass all up. I think i am gonna run it through the back and just have it poke through the wood.

Seymour Duncan makes some truely wonderful pickups. But their Rickenbacker replacement pickups are a little below mediocre. They have a real lack of personality, and they have a bland tone.

But the idea of a neck pickup on a p-bass is a good one.

The pending project of adding a bridge pickup to my VM TB bass is the only reason I haven't sold mine yet.

I say do it!

Well I have a jazz pickup i thought about putting in the bridge slot, but i thought it would be awesome to have a humbucker down there.

Like i said i want to try the EB-3 style.

So this

Will have an extra pickup that looks similar and in the same place as this.

I may start tmw. I have a fuzz to make too. So its witch ever i feel like doing.
