I know this should be simple but can someone please point me to a volume volume wiring diagram, no tone knob? thanks!

What Bass? Active or passive?
In GENERAL a passive system (with a few exceptions) has the Fender schematic (both single/double PUPS: J or P-Bass) in the Jazz the toggle is as simple as it gets, posts are bridge, neck as it faces you.

I would suggest the best thing is go to the web-page for that company and simply "cut & paste" the graphic for the schematic and print it out. IF it's an active system this is especially important. The bigger differences are seen in non-standard passives such as a Music Man (SUB): that type of gain/boost does NOT follow the Fender diagram. On a multi-PUP multi-volume the pots are cuts from the middle prong and the"right" if the knob faces you. Ground is surface of the pot in series to common ground to bridge.

It's a passive PJ setup, Fender copy. Everything I know from Fender has a tone knob, and I don't want one, so I'm curious about how to wire it up.

look at any jazz bass diagram;

where the wire comes off a volume pot lug and goes to the one tone pot lug and then to the jack, skip the tone, and go from that volume right to the jack.

Do you want the brighter tone, or not?

Depending on the original tone pot's value, removing the control will bleed less treble to ground, giving you a brighter tone. Some people like this, and some don't. Worst case scenario, you can replace the pot with a fixed resistor of the value you prefer.

ok thanks guys, copying the jazz diagram makes sense.

I don't know about the brightness issue, I'll give it a try and see how it sounds.
