Angry volume fade up and down

I have an schecter elite 5 , just got it.
Nice bass,
Last night experienced volume varying up and down, even a cut out once, but came rt back.
put in new battery.
Active electronic problems?
Please need help.
By the way bass is stable most of the time.
Love this Bass.
Help!!

How do you know it's you bass, and not your amp?

Didn't do it with old bass.
Plus tried it with 2 different amps

OK. Could be bad contact between battery and battery clip. The clip sometimes gets a little loose in the grip. I usually fix that with pliers (or teeth).
