Volume Issues

hey all, first time posting so i apologize if this in the wrong section.
i purchased a fender p special a few months ago and recently i've noticed that the 7th to 14th frets on the low E string are much quieter with respect to the other strings.

originally i thought it was a string thing, but as i am not experienced with this i was wondering what your opinion was on the situation.

The first thing I would try is new strings.

If that doesn't do it, then have a luthier check it and see if it's set up properly.

yeah, i've been meaning to put on some flatwounds, but i was waiting to get my bridge first.
