What would make a volume pot not roll all the way off ? It works fine from 10 to 5, then no taper at all from 5 down to 1.

OTOH, having a controllable range only from 10 to 5 is very unusual.
The only thing that comes to mind is that perhaps you are using a special dual ganged pot with one side only functioning from the center to 10 and the other side only functioning from the center to 0.
Is this a standard volume pot? |

I have the exact same problem with the Nordstrand pickups I just intalled. Any info would be highly appreciated! |
