Wanna change my Fender's J/J pickups!

Hello everyone!

I have a Fender Jazz bass and I recently tuned it in B-E-A-D, cause I dont like playing a 5-string and the 34" scale of the 4-string is just fine.
But my problem is that the pickups have a smooth tone(which I like for other stuff that I do) and I need something more powerful, more deep. I want that "growl" thing in my sound and I dont know if I can get it with a J/J setup.
Are there any J/J pickup sets you recommend for such a sound?(lets call it rock-metal)
I am not a very active user in this site, but everytime I need help/advice I kinda find it here. So I need someone that knows about that subject and can responsibly help me out!

The cheaper (though not a shortcut, by any means) would be the Dinarzio Model J DP123. They are about $110 U.S. I use Nordstrand NJ4SE's, but they are about 2x the price. Both are hum cancelling, which is a plus for any noisy situation. Also, both are beefier sounding than the average J single coil
