Want to mod my G&L tribute SB2

It has just volume and tone. Any ideas what the normal tone mod is?

And does anyone have pictures or a diagram?

Joe

I just Googled it- it appears to have two volumes and no tone, is that right? In that case you want to add a tone pot? If so you will probably want to wire it like a Jazz bass- there's dozens of schematics online for this. Google 'jazz bass wiring.'

Have you checked the G&L forum here on TB? Those guys will have your answers.

FWIW/IMO/IME the SB2 doesn't need a tone knob.

I'm planning to buy this:

The lack of a tone knob doesn't bother me at all on stage, because I just cut treble at the amp. But for recording I really miss it.

Butch makes great stuff, but he is working 2 jobs now and his turnaround is now a long time. I ordered a J-bass wiring harness on may 9, and still have not received it. Almost 8 weeks now.
