I have a 9-year-old Dean Edge Q4. I have been hearing poor reviews about the EMG-HZs i have. i am ready to overhaul my bass all together including new pots (the crackle all the time), hardware, p-ups, d-tuner...
My questions are:
1. are there many options that will fit in the same holes that fit my EMGs?
2. What brands are good quality... once i get my new bass i will use my dean to play only hard rock and d-tuned music. so what p-ups would you all suggest?
3. what pots would be good for my application?
