Warwick preamps

I just got a passive Corvette 5. I was wondering what kind of preamps active Corvettes have and if they're for sale, if I decide to drop a preamp in there. I suppose I could go with any preamp, but I'd like to keep it "authentic".

They have a MEC pre and Pu's. Give a shout to Dana B. Goods (warwicks US distributer) They should either be able to get you one, or point you in the right direction. They are great to deal with.

Thats probably a good reccomendation for getting an MEC preamp, but honestly, I think that those are probably the biggest weakness in most Warwicks. My teacher owns several, and has replaced one with an Aguliar, which sounds awsome, and the other two are almost always on passive mode.

I replaced my MEC pre with a Bart and it made all the difference in the world, frankly.
