Warwick Streamer Stage1 5er preamp replacement advice

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi , I'm wondering if anyone out there has ever replaced the guts and maybe the pups on their Warwick Streamer Stage1 5ers.
I'm toying with the idea of an Aguilar obp3 pre and Nordstrands , perhaps even single coil Nordies .
Any advice would be great .....

Just thought I'd add that I have Bart Stacks in the bass at the moment with a std MEC mid treble bass pre / I'm not getting the lower mid definition I'd like from the bass .

Has anyone done this?

My stock streamer stage 1 preamp is good but I have been getting a lot of radio interence whenever I touch the treble knob. So instead of fixing it I was think of upgrading. I dont want to loose the way the preamp is setup know.... blended pick-up, stcked passive/active. I have been looking at the aguilar preamp. I play through aggie head and cabs.
