what about lollar pickups?

can someone tell me about J. Lollar pickups for bass?
Next week i'll receive a original p bass stytle single coil pickup and i like to know about.

Hope you like the pickup. I put one in a '51 reissue and love it. Had the chance to A/B it with a 1952 p-bass, and it sounds incredibly close. Much better than the stock fender pickup.

can't speak for the P, but i just installed a set of his Jazz pickups and i'm a happy camper

he's a cool cat to boot...i'm considering buying a set of imperials for my les paul guitar now, the jazz set is so good
