Price not an issue,
http://www.bestbassgear.com/bartolini-pickups-2.htm

I'm ordering from there

I've been planning on http://www.bestbassgear.com/bartolin...6c-pickups.htm
but I was wondering if you guys had some better suggestions.

and I can't seem to tell what the difference is between that and say http://www.bestbassgear.com/bartolini-m46-pickups.htm
or
http://www.bestbassgear.com/bartolini-p2-pickups.htm
or
http://www.bestbassgear.com/bartolini-p4-pickups.htm

I'm sure there is a drastic difference or something but I'm a p-up noob.
Thanks.

no difference at all. All of them are quadcoil, not humcan when in single coil (unfortunately). The EMG45 has the coil a little far a part then the P2/4. Honestly I can not tell much difference.

all are available in quad coil, but not all were quad coil. some had dual coil, split coil, or classic bass options. But really it comes down to things like string spacing, and routing.

They are all essentially all the same pickups in different cases.

My advice is to give Brian at Best Bass Gear a phone call and ask him for his opinions on the different models of Barts that you're interested in. He's very personable and knowledgeable.

OK. So what did Brian say? Which did you choose? Is your 6er a fretted or fretless? Curious also to know.
