1.Change the Warwick onboard preamp BUT keep the MEC PU's.
2.Change your amp!!!

Ummm...the Hartke seems a fair choice for the price.
Have you considered a tube amp,now that you mentioned "character"?

Please don't compare a Sansamp with a tube amp!
The Sansamp is OK by itself but I never tried a Sansamp/Kickback combination (I never had both things at the same time).
Looks you're determined to jump on a Sansamp.Fine, but try to run it through an active loudspeaker of some sort or through a small PA output stage, not through a dedicated bass amp.

thanks
I will go to try HUGHES&KETTNER Quantum combos next week
but they are a bit on the expensive site.
I have played EBS drome 12" and i like it very much (i want that sound) but i noticed that Yamaha passive basses sound the best with EBS and active basses didnt sound so nice.

So can u help me whit choosing amp from 700-1200 $ for practice and smal gigs but very portable.
thanks.

OK,play next week that H&K and LEAVE IT ALONE.
(Personally,I HATE H&K's).
Try getting a Yamaha from your local dealer:

Yes i saw it such a beauty but how the f..... sounds this P pup on 5 stringer ????

Here is bb 415 very cheap around 550$
So ure advice is to buy Yamaha bb 415 and EBS.
Put together is around 1750 $ a little expensive but i think to go with that.
