I recommend three soap bars. It's what my Modulus has. Bridge. Sweetspot. And neck. Your spacing is a bit different but still should work fine. I love it.
Originally the Modulus just had three on-off toggle switches for the three pickups. eventually I modded it with a complex circuit where each switch has three positions. One way it puts that pickup in parallel. The other way it puts it in series. And in the middle it's off. I love it.
Gives you lots of combos but really you don't end up liking that many. I usually like sweet spot alone or bridge and neck in series. All three pickups in series is interesting too, but extemely hot.
There is a thread somewhere here in TB electronics on how I wired it.
I think you'll love the three pickup thing. I know I do. Your bass has a shape very similar to my modulus. http://www.mrk-inc.com/users/bspam/ModulusTBX6.JPG
