What pickups shall I get?

Hi, I am currently building my bass guitar and was wondering what you reckon the best pickups for around 10-50 pounds are.
links will be a big help thanks alot.

True, but they will likely cost more than 50 lbs.

Delanos are also excellent . . . and a bit pricey.

What style of pickup(s) are you looking for?
