I tried Dimarzios and Bartolinis but I found that the bridge P never sounded right.
Ohhh and the regular P pickup is smaller than the Elite P (I think ....it's been many years since I had one)
I was thinking of ordering a matched set from a manufacturer. Like when you get a P+J set. The bridge pickup doesn't sound right if they aren't paired together. Don't think its that much of a off the wall request from a pickup maker to put together a set. Fender isn't the only ones who tried the double P Bass pickups during the early mid 80's. B.C. Rich defiently comes to mind. I noticed the elite pickups do have a little extra meat around the area where the screws go in.
